The College had spent a lot of money training Further Education staff in coaching techniques. 1 year later, some people still coaching and some not. The Director of Quality was concerned the scheme was flagging a little.

Motivation Workshops a Brain Based Approach- Further Education College in South London
Second year students were just starting their UCAS applications and needed motivation to clarify their goal and get their applications in on time.
The tutors wanted the students to "think sensibly about choices and what's realistic and also to meet the college deadlines".
New Clarity for You provided a workshop that allowed students to; Identify the brain's role in their own motivation, clarify their goal and therefore strengthen their motivation, share tips on how to be motivated and maintain motivation, set powerful actions to meet deadlines.

The Staff Development Manager felt the college was losing learners who came for an interview because the interviewers were not getting the best out of them.
