When we are not achieving our goals or feel discomfort in areas of our lives it can be for a variety of reasons. One might be that we are not truly connected to our values.
Values can be unconscious drives that motivate us. They can drive whether we take action or not, go for something or not. They can be the foundation of our beliefs. We don’t therefore want to be doing them unconsciously, we want to be raising them to our conscious level. This way we can use them to help us make decisions and ensure we are in alignment. They can help steer our ship. Ever felt you were being driving by perfectionism? Ever felt like you were drawn to everything that sparked your curiosity, then felt overwhelmed by too much choice and information? I know I have. When we are consciously driven by our values and purpose, we can be more focused.
