Attracting Coaching Clients
This can be about not just attracting clients, but attracting the right ones. This involves us as coaches tapping into our clarity about what we offer. So the 3 steps of;
- What problem did our coachee come to us for help with?
- How did we help them?
- What was the outcome? How coaching helped.
It can also involve keeping momentum and motivation for our clients. So if momentum is lost, do we need to revisit the foundations that keep us focused, such as Purpose and Values.
Discovery Call
What can you do, to make it even more of a two way process, so you are attracting the right clients? What previous evidence can they share with you that they are committed to this journey? Previous wins.
Contracting and Agreements
This was about having clear and firm boundaries from the start. So how many sessions? When will the completion session take place? If they want to continue, what is your policy? It’s good to leave space for the coachee to put into practice all their learnings and insights. The learning journey is as important, if not more, than the action journey. Give their brain space to process and utilise their learnings.
Logging Progress
How much to capture in sessions? How much to feedback? What will benefit you the most in terms of coaching presence and time? What will benefit the coachee the most in terms of their progress? Having the completion session in mind can help. So capturing actions and insights for each session can provide a rich completion session.
Completion
Having a clear structure for your completion session, can really help enrich the process for you both. More details here.
